Grace Baptist Church is located on the southwest side of beautiful Springfield,
a city with a population of 115,000 people, and the capital of Illinois. We
are a growing and family friendly church that desires to whole-heartedly follow
the command of Jesus Christ to make desciples of all people.
We have been reaching out to individuals and families in Springfield since our church
founding in 1967 (
see history).
Our Sunday and midweek services are designed to meet the real-life needs of God's
people. With bible study classes for all ages, a youth program, a christian
school, weekly small group classes and weekly soulwinning outreach, we are desiring
to be used of God to make a difference in Springfield.
